Ford Recalls 2025–2027 F-150s: Front Seats May Not Be Bolted Down

By CARC Editorial Team · October 19, 2026 · 2 min read

Ford has initiated a recall for certain 2025–2027 model year F-150 trucks over improperly secured front-row seats. Approximately 2,276 vehicles are included.

The issue: front passenger seat-to-body bolts may not be fully seated — or could be missing entirely. Improper securement means the seat may not restrain its occupant properly, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.

Ford says it is working on parts and will notify owners by mail to schedule a free repair. As with every recall, dealers are legally required to perform the fix at no charge.
