China's FAW Enters Italy With Five SUVs From 26,998 Euros

Chinese state-owned automaker FAW officially entered the Italian market on October 20 with a launch event in Milan, introducing five SUVs at once with prices ranging from 26,998 to 38,998 euros, Media OutReach Newswire reported. FAW Chairman Liu Zhongchen and FAW International chairman Yang Xiaofeng attended alongside local partners, media and vehicle owners.
The lineup is split into two product lines. The BESTUNE combustion range covers the compact T77 for urban commuting and family use, the larger T90 for long-distance family trips, and the sporty B70S aimed at younger buyers who value handling and design. The JOYEE new-energy range adds the S04 battery-electric SUV for city driving — with access to restricted urban zones and low running costs — and the S08 plug-in hybrid, pitched as a long-range, all-scenario family SUV that can handle mountain terrain.
FAW called Italy one of Europe's most promising core automotive markets and said it is building a professional local sales and service network to support the launch. The move is part of a broader wave of Chinese brands entering Europe with aggressively priced lineups, and Italy — with its mix of dense cities, long intercity routes and mountain roads — is a deliberate test of whether one five-model range can cover all of it.
