Volvo XC90 Leases From $599 a Month in Some Regions, and the Lease-to-Own Math Is Surprisingly Good

Volvo is leasing the 2026 XC90 B5 AWD mild-hybrid model from $599 a month in some regions, a deal that shows up on the Volvo incentives page for areas like New York State and Central California, while other areas, like Florida and parts of the Southwest, lease the same car for as much as $679. The $599 deal breaks down as $599 a month for 36 months, $3,719 due at signing including the first monthly payment, a stackable $500 lease loyalty bonus for returning Volvo drivers, and availability through November 2, 2026, for qualified lessees.
The lease comes with an offer to purchase the car for $34,345, plus a $450 purchase option fee. Added up, signing costs of $3,719 plus 35 further monthly payments of $20,965 give total lease costs of $24,684; adding the purchase price and fee gives a total cost to buy of $59,479, against a base MSRP of $61,050. In other words, a lessee who leases and then buys finances only a little over half the cost after three years and saves $1,571 over the sticker price, before taxes, titling and other costs, and before any other applicable incentives.
That lease-to-own arithmetic is why this deal stands out from a typical monthly-payment headline. The XC90 is a 250-hp, six-seat luxury SUV with Nappa leather, positioned directly against BMW and Mercedes-Benz rivals that rarely lease this cheaply. The catch is geography and qualification: the $599 figure is regional, not national, so shoppers outside the cheap regions should check a nearby dealer before assuming the same payment, and should confirm the purchase-option terms in writing before counting on the buyout price.
