Ford Recalls 30,123 F-150 and Super Duty Trucks Over a Structure Issue

Ford is recalling certain 2026–2027 F-150, 2026 F-250 Super Duty, F-350 Super Duty and F-450 Super Duty trucks over a structure issue, according to the NHTSA weekly recall summary for October 19–25, 2026. The campaign covers 30,123 vehicles in total, making it the third-largest recall reported that week, behind only the Toyota Sienna seat-back recall and the Lexus NX display recall.
The summary lists the component as structure, but does not publish the detailed defect description, remedy or owner-letter timing in the weekly roundup — owners should check their VIN on NHTSA.gov for the full campaign record, as the weekly summary is a headline list, not the complete filing. Repairs for safety recalls are free at the brand’s dealers, and that applies here as it does to every NHTSA safety recall.
The recall lands in a busy month for Ford’s truck recalls: earlier October campaigns covered F-150 fuel tanks (223,472 vehicles), Expedition and Super Duty headlights, and Ram’s rival TPMS recall, among others. None of that makes the F-150 a bad truck — it is still America’s best-selling vehicle line — but it does mean F-150 and Super Duty owners should make a VIN check a habit, not a one-off: new campaigns for these high-volume trucks have been arriving almost weekly through October.
