IONNA More Than Doubles in 2026, Passing 180 Sites and 1,500 Fast-Charging Stalls

IONNA fast-charging network has more than doubled in size during 2026, surpassing 180 live sites and 1,500 DC fast-charging stalls, according to October 2026 reporting. The automaker-backed network, founded by BMW, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis and Toyota, is working toward 30,000 high-power charging bays by 2030. Its teal dispensers carry both NACS and CCS connectors, built for the connector transition from day one.

The differentiator is power and price. Every stall can deliver up to 400 kW of peak power, making IONNA the market leader in the 400 kW-plus segment, and it leads non-Tesla networks in NACS deployment, with about 36 percent of its stalls, 548 stalls, equipped with NACS connectors against an industry average of roughly 12 percent. Average pricing of $0.38 per kWh sits well below the industry average of $0.56 per kWh, per the DCFC Tracker. In September, IONNA topped the JD Power 2026 US Electric Vehicle Experience public-charging satisfaction ranking with 807 points out of 1,000.

The buildout is increasingly partnership-driven. A deal with Circle K puts more than 350 sites in scope under the Rechargeries at Circle K banner, with the first co-branded locations expected by the end of 2026. That retail-host model, chargers where drivers already stop for fuel, food and restrooms, is the bet that charging stops being a detour and becomes part of the errand. If IONNA sustains this pace, its 2030 target stops looking theoretical and starts looking like a schedule.
