2027 Kia EV9 Priced From $54,990, With Nightfall Edition Now Standard on Land

Kia America announced pricing for the 2027 EV9 on October 27. The all-electric three-row SUV, a 2024 North American Utility of the Year and 2024 World Car of the Year winner, starts at $54,990 for the Light short-range model before the $1,645 destination charge, rising to $71,990 for the GT-Line. Light long-range is $57,990, Wind is $64,090 and Land is $69,990.
The headline change is on the Land trim, where the formerly optional Nightfall Edition Package is now standard — at a $500 lower MSRP than the 2026 Land Nightfall Edition. That brings a torque boost from 379 lb-ft to 516 lb-ft, a 36% increase, for faster acceleration, plus an exclusive interior color scheme with a black headliner and unique stitching on black synthetic leather seats. Wind gets black-finish 19-inch wheels, glossy black exterior garnishes and newly available Wolf Gray paint.
The EV9’s value case in a post-tax-credit market rests on exactly this kind of move: hold the entry price, add standard equipment where buyers actually notice it, and let the three-row electric SUV compete on space and capability rather than on incentives that no longer exist. For families cross-shopping the EV9 against gas three-rows, the Land’s torque jump is the spec-sheet change most likely to be felt from the driver’s seat.
