Li Auto has officially announced that the 2026 model of its i6 SUV is scheduled for market launch on October 28, with deliveries expected in early November, Car News China reported. The vehicle arrived at dealerships on October 11 and made its international debut at the Paris Motor Show on October 12.
CEO Li Xiang highlighted six upgrades. Lighting moves to ADB matrix headlights identical to the Li Mega’s, for improved brightness, width and night-driving range. Storage gains a new electric front trunk with “knock-to-open” and voice control. Comfort brings dual front zero-gravity seats reclining to 150 degrees. Display is the showpiece: a 29-inch 6K panoramic front screen plus a 21-inch 4K rear entertainment screen. Range comes from a 96 kWh fast-charging battery rated at 780 km on the CLTC cycle — roughly 632 km on the stricter WLTP scale.
Notably, the 2026 i6 launches without CATL batteries — a supply-chain shift worth watching in a market where CATL has long been the default. The i6 competes in China’s brutal mid-size electric SUV segment against the Tesla Model Y and a wave of domestic rivals; on paper, the feature count is the argument.
